Picture Overload

Halloween: Max as Harry Potter, Brie as a butterfly, Charakie as a web, Mitchell as her spider, Drew as a baseball player (Not pictured: George as a tree in which Charakie spins her web).

Cutest kids ever.

I managed to make all the costumes this year except for Drew's of course. Max looked so great as Harry Potter, but he couldn't find his glasses or his wand for this picture. It's really too bad I didn't get a picture of him with his glasses because he looked awesome. Darn.

Drew's always easy to dress for Halloween because he just likes to be himself. He dressed up as Troy from High School Musical for our ward Halloween party...didn't get a picture.

Brie won the award for best costume at our ward party. I made her skirt, she bought her own wings and made her shirt. It was a fun costume to put together.

I spent hours on Mitchell's spider costume. He had a separate piece that his legs were on but he refused to wear it...it terrified him. He just looked at it with wide eyes and said "I no like it, I no like it!" I was ticked. So after hours of work on his costume, he ended up walking around in black sweats and googly eyes on his beanie. Lame.

I did however, manage to get this picture with his legs on. We had to sneak it on him and as soon as he figured it out, he had a panic attack. So strange.

Super cute four legged spider though :)

Drew's Red Sox team made it to the championship game but lost in the last two innings. It was a great season and we had so much fun watching him play.

Go Red Sox!

Max turned 7 in October. He wanted to help me make a cake this year, and he wanted an army cake. He did a fine job ;)

Grandma Mitchell was here for his birthday. She took us to Stevi B's for dinner that night, it was fun to have her here to celebrate with us.

So great to be SEVEN!

I always go to the school to have lunch with my kids on their birthdays. This was especially fun because Mitchell was home napping with Grandma and I actually got to focus on Max. They love having lunch with mom.

So happy to have Grandma here!

Boosterthon Fun Run at Duncan Creek Elementary.

Mitchell getting his groove on at the fun run...he had the crowds attention :)

Brie raised money through a magazine fun raiser at her school and because she sold so many, she got to go to lunch in a Hummer Limo. There were about 60 6th graders that went. They had three different limos and took them to Stars and Strikes for pizza and arcade games.

Where were the Hummer Limos at good old A.F. Junior High?

Enjoying fall at Uncle Shuck's.

This was awesome. Mitchell refused to let go of his chair so George could buckle him. It turned in to a brawl, but eventually George won...

Heartbreaking. And kind of cute.

Yep, a frog on my kitchen wall. You might be asking yourself how it got in my house...I have no idea. I'd take him any day over a spider though.

Mitchell following in his brothers' footsteps.

More baseball...

Bowling. Mitchell on drugs.

George didn't want me to post this picture but I couldn't resist. It's hilarious. My boys are actually kind of good at striking Victoria's Secret worthy poses! And Mitch, of course, learning from the best. We'll pull this picture out when we're making their wedding videos for sure.

Never a dull moment.

Happy 2nd Birthday Mitchell!

Mitchell turned two last week.

This kid is really busy and a bit challenging, but he is such a delight at the same time. We can't get enough of him. Here's just a little taste...

He's known for his super cool outfits around our house. In these pictures, he had just come in from playing outside and had to keep his helmet on while riding his scooter in the kitchen. It's a bit hot in Georgia, his flushed face and dripping sweat tells all.

Then there's the goggles. Not to mention no pants, and his super cool high tops handed down from his big brother Drew. Mitchell loves shoes too, but the frog rain boots are still the favorite. (I posted a picture of him picking blueberries in his frog boots but I accidentally deleted it. Darn.)

Indecent super hero saving people at the North Pole? Who knows. It's classic, I love it.

Last but not least, Betty Crocker on wheels. The outfit combinations are endless with this little guy :)

We had some friends of ours over for a BBQ to celebrate Mitchell's birthday. Here's the display in my cute, new, (almost finished) dining room. (Note: George built the table, we got random chairs from a consignment shop, and I painted the room "mossy rock." George thinks the paint looks pee green but I'm convinced it's growing on him).

Mitchell is obsessed with trucks, motorcycles, 4-wheelers, buses, cars, tractors, trains, etc... Basically anything that goes. As a result, his gifts consisted of many things with wheels and he hasn't stopped playing with them since.

Opening presents...

The train was a hit.

Mitchell's cake was in the back of his dump truck. He blew the candles out before we even finished singing to him...I wasn't aware he knew how to blow candles out. Smart boy.

Happy Birthday Mitchie Moo! We love you.
