It's true! There really is such thing as a Temple Riders Association. I went to Snow College for youth conference in August and was lucky enough to get to meet some of the fine members of the T.R.A. Okay, okay...I pretty much hunted them down and forced them into telling me everything I needed to know about the association and how I could go about becoming one of them. There was a huge group of them and they travel all around the country on their motorcycles visiting all the different temples. The men had on shirts and ties under their leather jackets and get this...the women had on sweats underneath their dresses!

This association has been around for years and I had no idea. They said all I needed was a motorcycle and a temple recommend and I could join them...hmmm...maybe I can borrow my moms scooter! This has been a long time dream for me, George and I talk about it all the time. So mark my words...someday George and I will have leather jackets that have a big "T.R.A" on the back of them and I'll be riding from temple to temple with sweats under my skirt.

They gave me their card (can you believe they even have cards?!) so I can get in touch with them in 20 years when our kids are grown. Chances are the sweet old couples that I became friends with won't be riding anymore but no worries...the Temple Riders Association will live on!

I just recently got called into Young Womens so youth conference was my first big activity. We only had 2 girls go but we had a great time and it was fun to get to know them better. Pretty sure they thought I was crazy when I flagged down the members of the T.R.A but we had a good laugh about it afterwards. We went to the Manti temple and had a small fireside which was such a neat experience. Some of the youth bore powerful testimonies and the spirit was so strong...it was a great conference.

honestly...that is one of my dreams too. to go to every temple that i possibly can! how fun would that be?
That looks like a good time! I would love to visit temples decked out in leather. I just got called to Young Womens! Yeah!
I can't believe you forgot to mention the T.R.A. until now!!!
My aunt and Uncle are part of that group. Or one like it. I think it's really awesome. Nathan and I will join you. We'll be in a car though, I'm pretty accident prone. I love your blog. What a cute family! Happy Anniversary by the way.
Cute Blog!! You are such a cute family!
You look the same age as your Young Women!
I can admit that I have never heard of the T.R.A. and that I am okay visiting temples by car, but more power to you. I can already tell from your blog that you and George are WAY more athletic than Tyler and me. I can't believe all the reunions you had and all the great outdoor activities. The closest we get to nature is usually the backyard (all my fault of course because of my allergies).
Thanks for inviting us to see your blog. If you haven't seen ours it is caziertm.blogspot.com
Good luck, we tend to blather on quite a bit.
We can't wait to see you guys, and in the meantime, we'll keep track of you here. Thanks again.
