Happy 5th Birthday Drew!

Drew just turned 5 last weekend...I swear he was just born last month! He wanted a football party, SHOCKING I know :)

P.S. For those Utah fans who are concerned about the hat...Drew is a very confused child. He has decided that he likes BYU unless they are playing Utah. But the truth is, he likes the team that is winning...he totally switches it up mid-game. Smart boy.

Some of our favorite things about Drew are...

1. We have to make a rule that there is NO dribbling balls in the house until 8:30 am. We had to make the rule to avoid waking up the neighbors with the BOOM, BOOM, BOOM, that accompanies dribbling a volleyball on the carpet starting at 7:00 am EVERY day! The child eats, drinks, and sleeps sports.

2. He is always the first to protect his siblings and to praise them for a job well done.

3. He is SUPER protective of his mom and always tells her how pretty she is. He strives to be like his dad too...George's HUGE muscles are the motivation behind Drew's healthy eating habits :) Drew is very observant and has many idols. He is always aware and watching people.

4. He always gives 100%. When he makes up his mind to do something, he does it well and he MUST be the best at it.

5. Drew likes to be in control and is a born leader. He is a smart boy and is very independent. He is very intense and if we can only direct him and keep him doing positive things, the possibilities are endless!
