Boys

I could and should post funny things that my boys say everyday...these things really should be recorded. So first, let my preface this post by saying that Drew REFUSES to wear "high" socks. Ankle socks only for this kid. And Max apparently inherited Summer's ability to watch a movie or T.V. and memorize lines after hearing them only once. That being said, check out my latest conversations with these two...

Drew: Mom, look what I have on..."High" socks!
Me: Awesome Drew!
Drew: I like high socks because Korver wears them.
Me: Of course you do.

Drew then starts dribbling one of Mitchell's balls back and forth through our house as fast as he can and the conversation continues as follows...

Drew: Mom, watch how fast I can run and dribble.
Me: Wow, you are so very fast!
Drew: Does my hair blow when I run that fast?
Me: (Trying not to laugh) Yes Drew, your hair does blow. It's blows just like Korver's.

Look at his hair...of course it blows as he runs :) He checks his hair in the reflection of the front doors of his school before going in. He's only FIVE. We're in so much trouble!

Then there's Max, who by the way just lost his first tooth! This conversation is just one of many we have had of this same nature. Most of them very random and have nothing to do with the conversation that is currently going on in the room. We were eating dinner talking about each others day when Max piped up and said...

Max: Mom, when are you going to buy Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner?
Me: Ummm, I don't use Scrubbing Bubbles so probably never. Why?
Max: Because you can HEAR it working!

I'm sure he's only seen one Scrubbing Bubbles commercial but whipped out that info at the most random moment. He'll be a sucker for infomercials!
