Cambrie and Mitchell

Cambrie had her Christmas choir concert last night and the choir did such an amazing job.

This is a group of 4th and 5th graders who've auditioned to be in this particular choir. They worked really hard and it paid off...the music was beautiful. Way to go Duncan Creek Cardinal Choir!

SUPER secure, top of the line, safety gate: $50.00

Mitchell falling down the stairs: Inevitable

"If I can't open the gate myself, I'll just pull it down."

Awesome. Mind you, this gate was not easy to pull down. He figured out if he shook it back and forth hard enough, and enough times, it would eventually give. Every time we put it back up, he had it down again within a couple days...pointless.

I give up. This kid is totally in control.

He looks very pleased with himself:) I at times wish I had not very smart, slow children, I think they would be so much easier.

I feel like I am looking into my future. Paige is just starting to get interested in the stairs and I know we're going to have to spring for a gate on of these days.

It must be something about kids born that year because H. is SO giving me a run for my money!

We didnt even attempt a gate. It was scary the first week or two but now its smooth sailing (until Kai falls down the stairs). I cant believe how big Cambrie is. I know I say that every time but she's getting so old!

I love keeping up with your cute family on here. I gave up on gates a long time ago, but mainly because I hated helping all the older kids get over them.

p.s. You have to tell George that when I watched Tangled, Eugene totally reminded me of him.
